It can also be used to protect the skin around fistulas, between the base of a stoma and the opening of the dermal barrier, and as a filler for skin folds, uneven dermal surfaces, and scars.

Characteristics:
Adhesiveness: Stomahesive® paste facilitates the adhesion of protective skin barriers in irregular areas of the abdomen, ensuring a longer duration.
Moldability: Stomahesive® paste allows filling and leveling irregularities in the abdomen to prevent effluent leaks. It is used on the peristomal skin or any other area of ​​the abdomen that requires leveling in order to place the Stomahesive® protective skin barrier and thus prevent the stoma drainage from injuring the skin.
Recommendations:
- It is recommended to read the application instructions available on the packaging before application.
- Wash the skin surrounding the stoma with clean water and neutral pH soap (without using antiseptic solutions) and rinse thoroughly until residue is removed.
- Apply Stomahesive® paste directly to healthy skin when it is necessary to fill folds or peri- or parastomal irregularities. You can also apply a circle to the inner edge of the protective skin barrier to improve the seal in the case of urinary or digestive stomas. with liquid drainage that may cause skin irritation.
- Apply the Stomahesive® skin protective barrier according to the indicated technique.
- Repeat the procedure when drain leaks occur.
- Do not apply directly to a wound bed or irritated skin. It should only be applied to healthy skin.
- Cap the paste tube quickly after using it to prevent it from drying out.
- When applying it, handle it directly from the tube or with a wet finger.
- Storage temperature 5°C – 30°C.
